iMotions is a member of ESOMAR, MRA, AMA and ARF. Users of Emotion Tool™ are expected to adhere to the rules and codes endorsed by these organizations.

Emotion affects our decision making process. Taking into consideration the possibilities of unethical parties using the revelation of emotions by Emotion Tool™ to manipulate public’s decision making process, iMotions disapproves the use of Emotion Tool™ for any unlawful, immoral or irresponsible purposes. Our product is strictly to be used for marketing research purposes only.

ICC/ESOMAR International Code of Marketing and Social Research Practice.

The research generated by Emotion Tool™ is affected by the public’s confidence. It is therefore important that this confidence is sustained by a suitable professional Code of Practice, which governs the ethical and professional actions in which marketing research projects are conducted.

iMotions adheres to the ICC/ESOMAR Code, which is the overaching code for the international research industry. This Code encapsulates our industry’s ethical and professional principles. It strengthens our assurances to respondents about privacy guarantees and fully into line with legislative requirements.

Futhermore this Code maintains global consistency, with respect to local rules that lay down a superior level of requirement, and is therefore relevant for all our global users to abide by.

It is imperative that Emotion Tool™’s users adhere to the ICC/ESOMAR International Code of Marketing and Social Research Practice to insure that our product is not associated by unprincipled business practice. Emotion Tool users should also adhere to established scientific principles and the national and international legislation which applies in those countries involved in a given research project.
