On February 14, 2007, iMotions - Emotions Technology A/S was officially awarded the status of Certified Partner to the Microsoft Partner Program. “This is a big step forward for the software development team and values their know-how and efforts at a different level. We are proud to join a worldwide business network as Certified Partner. We reached another milestone of iMotions’ strategy towards the market leadership in the market research industry,” says Jakob de Lemos, CTO and Head of Research and Development. Kim Ibfelt - New Member to the Advisory Board
The iMotions Advisory Board was strengthened as of February 2007 by Kim Ibfelt who will be Advisor Software Development. Kim will be supporting the software development team around CTO Jakob de Lemos together with Tore Kristensen (Experimental Marketing Advisor), Dr. Werner Sperschneider (Usability and User-centered Design Advisor) and Lone Frank (Neuroscience Advisor), the other members of the Technology Advisory Board.
“We are proud to welcome Kim to the Advisory Board as he will be providing the latest technological knowledge combined with business experience and empathy. We are looking forward to working closely together to advance the Emotion Tool software to tomorrow’s market needs already now,” says iMotions’ CTO and Co-Founder Jakob de Lemos.
Kim currently works as Product Unit Manager at the Microsoft Development Center Copenhagen (MDCC). He is responsible for the development of Microsoft Dynamics NAV. The last years he primarily focused on managing Software Development projects in various business environments.

iMotions took the entrepreneurship title "Edison 2007" in a national competition which purpose was appointing the best IT-Entrepreneurs in Denmark.
iMotions competed against other 9 finalists for the Edison Prize 2007, presenting their product, technology and growth strategies to a competent jury conformed from serial entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and business leaders.

iMotions raises additional private funding of $US 1.6 million from a group of eight new investors.
Seven of the investors are private investors. The majority of the investment will be used to bring the first generation of Emotion Tool on the global market.
