Peter Hartzbech speaks at the Copenhagen Regional celebration in the Ernst & Young’s “Entrepreneur of the Year” event.
Peter Hartzbech presented iMotions' “True” Born Global Strategy at the “Entrepreneur of The Year” organized by Ernst & Young. iMotions – Emotion Technology ApS is a true born global company. During the event, Peter shared with the audiences the path iMotions has gone through since its commencement - how the venture has made it possible to develop and commercialize a highly complicated disruptive technology with just less than USD200,000 in less than 7 months. iMotions team gave a demonstration of its product during the event.

iMotions moves to new facilities in Central Copenhagen
iMotions has moved to an old restored and charming office in the heart of Copenhagen, just 100 meter from Tivoli and Strøget, the main shopping street. This relocation is in line with iMotions’ rapid growth and expansion in the coming years. A state-of-the-art testing facility used for pilot testing can also be found in the new facilities.

iMotions Collaborates with MIT’s E-lab Event
After going through a tough and selective process, iMotions is the first ever high tech company in Scandinavia to participate in the E-Lab (Entrepreneurship Lab) event organized by MIT in the fall. iMotions is also the only non-U.S. company participating in this fall event.
E-Lab is a practical course offered by the MIT Entrepreneurship Center, which is managed by Mr. Kenneth Morse, a 5-time successful entrepreneur in the high-tech industry.

iMotions Hosts 2005 Global Village Project
iMotions has hosted a team constituted of 7 future leaders in the Business and Industry fields, coming from Peru, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Singapore, Poland and Israel.
Global Village is a 6-week internship held at the Iacocca Institute, Lehigh University, PA, US. Founded by Lee Iacocca, this program gathers the most promising young leaders of business and industry from all over the world. Today alumni represent members from approximately 90 countries. The program has attracted many high standing CEO's and other executives, from whom the participants will have the chance to learn. In addition to lectures in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, several visiting trips to companies in various sectors are also held during the course of the internship so that the participants have the opportunities to acquire first hand knowledge and experience.

Presentation on Emotion- and Interest- Sensitive Media
CTO and Co-founder Jakob de Lemos will be doing a presentation on Emotion- and Interest Sensitive Media in an after-work meeting at SIGCHI on Friday 20th of May, 14.00-16.00. Besides sharing with the public his works on interactive media, he will also be presenting a case on digital interactive fiction and describe the potential use of Emotion- and Interest Sensitive Technology in future media, as well as the future perspectives of iMotions.

iMotions Moves to New Facilities in Ørestaden
iMotions has moved to IT-University of Copenhagen, where the fifth floor of the main building has been set up as 'IT-Væksthus', a new incubator with several high potential start-ups. This new location will provide iMotions with the opportunities to meet new potential employees and access to valuable research and technologies.

iMotions - Emotion Technology ApS Closes Deal of First Round Seed Capital
iMotions - Emotion Technology ApS has successfully raised seed capital of DKK1.5 million from CAT SEED A/S and CAT-Symbion Innovation A/S. The capital injection will be used to continue the development of the Beta version our software, which is expected to be finalized during August 2005.

CAT (Center for Advanced Technology) has private equity worth approximately DKK335 million. A research based incubator initiated by the Danish Ministry of Science, CAT-Symbion Innovation A/S is evenly owned by CAT Research and Technology Park and Symbion.
